10 Awesome Planned Movie Cameos (That Sadly Never Happened)

Predators had a pretty cool concept; take the most dangerous hunters on Earth, and stick them on a Predator planet to see how they fare. It was an entertaining sequel, but it didn’t linger since it was basically a remake of the original, and the modest budget made it look like a pilot for a Predator TV show.

The original script was penned by Robert Rodriguez back in 1994 and followed Arnie’s Dutch from the first film. Obviously, by the time it was made Schwarzenegger was busy being Governor so Adrian Brody hit the gym and took over as a new hero. During production that was still hope Arnold could make an appearance, so an alternate ending was written just in case.

The extended ending would have seen a Predator ship land before the survivors, who naturally are expecting a scrap. A bunch of Predators walk off the ship and surround them, followed by their “leader”. He removes his helmet to reveal Dutch, who congratulates them on their survival.

Arnie’s schedule didn’t allow this brief easter egg, and since he appears to hate the Predator sequels he’s probably not upset about it.
