10 Awesome Train Wreck Scenes In Films That Are TOTAL Train Wrecks

4. The Commuter - Drifting Passenger Cart

Here's a note to any aspiring screen writers that want to land Liam Neeson as the lead. All you have to do is to ensure the title of your film stars with "The" and ends with any ambiguous noun: The Marksman, The Grey, The Prophet, The Other Man, The Haunting, The Bounty, The Innocent and, of course The Commuter (there's actually more but I think I made my point).

In this action packed thriller, Neeson is a simple insurance salesman on his way home from work. But when he's approached by a desperate stranger, it's up to him to find out the identity of a dangerous passenger before a deadly plan unfolds. There are a lot of things wrong with this film, the number of suspects is way too big, the plot is overly complicated and the ending doesn't live up to the suspense built up throughout the film.

Despite this train wreck of a film, there are two saving graces: Liam Neeson, as ever, is fantastic as a lone action hero and the way the train derails and drifts off the tracks makes me wonder whether the Fast And Furious team will somehow try to shoehorn that idea in too.
