10 Awesome Train Wreck Scenes In Films That Are TOTAL Train Wrecks

3. Final Destination 3 - Final Scene

When it comes to Final Destination, you get what you pay cinema admission for. We all want to see young adults getting killed in the most brutally creative ways seen on the big screen and there is no franchise that does it better. In terms of praise, that's about as much as it deserves, except of course the awesome twist at the end of Final Destination 5, starting off the whole cycle over again.

In Final Destination 3, we follow Wendy (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) who has a premonition that the fairground ride will dysfunction, killing dozens. When she decides not to go on the ride, it does indeed break down and she has to spend the rest of the film trying to fight off death's advances. Just when you think she's safe, she receives another premonition about a train derailing just moments before the other fair ground survivors board.

Passengers are sliced in half, sucked out of windows and smashed by debris but miraculously, Wendy survives. Crippled and bruised she tries to claw herself away from the tracks just as another train steams round the corner.

I see my role at WhatCulture the same way my wife sees my role as a lover: I contribute in a very small way, my presence is barely noticeable and I’m not entirely sure if the laughter is at me or with me.
