It's never easy for a young actor to be taken seriously in this day and age, especially when said actor first rose to fame as a teenage pop princess who sang songs about throwing parties for the world and their friends because, hey, they take life easy so the fun never ends. That's the general gist of Billie's one hit wonder Because We Want To, anyway. Unfortunately, only the complete opposite can be said about her first and failed attempt to launch her cinematic career.

On paper it should've gone down like a house on fire as Billie shared the screen with Orlando Bloom who took on the leading role of Jimmy Connelly in the 2004 mockumentary comedy The Calcium Kid. Billie played Orlando's girlfriend Angel but their on screen chemistry just wasn't sizzling enough to ensure any sort of success at the box office.

The film currently holds a rare overall rating of 0% and its performances have been ridiculed for being "uncharacteristically bad" - surely one of the worst reviews an actor can get? Don't worry, Bils. A certain Time Lord was just around the corner...
