10 Awful Films Game Of Thrones Actors Want Us To Forget

6. Sophie Turner - X-Men Apocalypse/Dark Phoenix

Gods Of Egypt

Sansa Stark certainly went through a tonne of things in Game of Thrones, and her story was always on the cusp of greatness, but every time it had the promise to become the show's best narrative, some awful storytelling would bring it down. It seems that Sophie Turner faced a similar trajectory with her movie career post GOT.

The talented actor is a unique presence in the industry, and when it was announced that she would be playing the role of Jean Grey in the Fox X-Men movie franchise, things looked promising. Days of Future Past was well-received by critics and audiences, and thus Apocalypse seemed destined for good things. Sadly, this film and its sequel would go on to kill the X-men franchise, and that is certainly not something you would want to be remembered for.

It is not just that she was a part of the mishandled Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix movies, it's the fact that she played an unbelievably integral role that makes this a real black mark on her record. The films highly revolved not only around her character but her performance, and while she does a perfectly decent job at times, it is not special enough to make the projects work.

That is not a legacy you want to be following you around.
