10 Awful Movies Breaking Bad Actors Want You To Forget

Bryan Cranston just can't do comedy.

Why Him?
20th Century Fox

Since its debut in 2008, Breaking Bad has spawned five seasons, 62 episodes, a prequel series, a spin-off movie and is widely considered to be one of the, if not THE, best television show ever made. It enjoyed popular and critical success all throughout its five year run thanks to its faultless writing, brilliant performances and electrifying story.

The story of a chemistry teacher turned meth kingpin in Albuquerque, New Mexico transformed Bryan Cranston from a sitcom star known for his roles in Malcolm in the Middle and Seinfeld to a prestige actor that ended up giving what is considered one of the best acting performances in TV history. The rest of the cast, such as Anna Gunn, Aaron Paul, Bob Odenkirk and Dean Norris were recognised for their talented performances also.

While their work on the show was lauded, not every cast member's career post-Breaking Bad was as fruitful as their potential seemed to suggest. These are 10 movies that Breaking Bad actors want us to forget.

10. The Recall (RJ Mitte)

Why Him?
Mind's Eye Entertainment

RJ Mitte broke ground in 2008 when he was cast as Walter White's son, Walter Jr. in Breaking Bad. The show's creators wanted to cast somebody who actually had cerebral palsy, like Mitte's character. He became one of very few actors with cerebral palsy who have landed work in high profile projects such as this. His major role on such a hugely popular series was a landmark for giving disabled actors casting opportunities in Hollywood.

While he has been involved in some interesting projects since the end of Breaking Bad, 2017's The Recall was not one of them. Mitte starred as a main character opposite Wesley Snipes in this sci-fi horror. The film brought nothing new or especially interesting to the genre and transpired to be dull, forgettable and ultimately unintelligent science fiction fare that's probably best left out of RJ Mitte's résumé.
