10 Awful Trailers For Surprisingly Good Horror Movies

You would assume a movie centred around an unseen villain wouldn't have to worry about its trailer revealing too much.

But the teaser for The Invisible Man finds a way. The promos spoiled so much, many moviegoers felt like they saw the film before it came out.

On top of that, there is a shot in the trailer of our heroine dunking paint on the villain, Adrian Griffin, revealing he's wearing a light-cancelling suit to hide his appearance. Because many people were under the impression Griffin used an experimental serum to turn invisible, it seemed like the trailer had given away its biggest twist.

But that isn't the case at all. Contrary to what was revealed in the promotions, this reboot is far from predictable. Even if you saw every single trailer, you can be assured that the film has plenty of surprises left in store for you.

And due to the superb directing, memorable scares, focus on character development, and a brilliant performance by the lead star, Elisabeth Moss, The Invisible Man is among the best horror remakes over the last decade.
