Does anyone really need to see more grainy CCTV movies about things that go bump in the night? Well, given that this spin-off made $90m from a $5m budget, it's sadly evident that somebody does.
The whole franchise is reductive and uninspired beyond a gimmick, but at least some of them worked because of their commitment to the purest agenda: to shock and scare. The Marked Ones, unfortunately managed neither.
