9. The Belko Experiment

Think you’re having a bad day at the office? Well, for the worker bees in The Belko Experiment, directed by Wolf Creek creator Greg McLean and scripted by Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn, it’s much, much worse.

Their day starts out normally enough at the mysterious Belko Corporation, a Bogota based business hiring American expats where nobody is really sure what they actually do, until the office is shut down and a disembodied voice announces to the 80 drones trapped inside that they must start offing their fellow employees otherwise the powers that be will start killing workers themselves. A strange way to encourage competition in the workplace for sure, but one that guarantees plenty of carnage and bloodshed for horror fans.

Granted, the old ‘put people in a confined space and make them kill each other’ scenario isn’t exactly groundbreaking stuff but thanks to the combination of McLean and Gunn, The Belko Experiment promises some creatively gory moments with a bit of dark humour mixed in for good measure.
