10 Best Crime Films Of All Time

3. Pulp Fiction (1994)

The Crime? Pulp Fiction depicts several, meticulously interwoven storylines involving an ensemble cast, all of whom dabble in crime in some way. Whether its hired muscle who kill for cash, a boxer willing to take a dive, drug addicts or mobsters, the world of Pulp Fiction is a veritable den of criminality where even Christian ideals are used as a means of intimidation in that iconic Mexican standoff. Why Is It Great? Though it is built upon an excellent storyline which is equally well told, Pulp Fiction is remembered so well to this day thanks to the incredible performances and dialogue at its core. In particular the chemistry of John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson€™s characters Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield have endured, especially in that scene where the two discuss the nomenclature of cheeseburgers overseas. Quintin Tarantino€™s masterpiece will celebrate its twentieth birthday this October yet is just as watchable now as it was back in 1994 thanks the this sumptuous dialogue.
