10 Best Horror Movie Scream Queens
5. Taissa Farmiga
The most recent addition to this list, the younger sister of The Conjuring star Vera Farmiga has more than earned a place here as her brief but well-stocked screen career has seen her work over time to nab the title of twenty first century scream queen.
In the decade or so she has spent onscreen, Farmiga has impressed in countless genre hits. Her work in small screen horror ranges in tone from Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy's inconsistent American Horror Story, to Get Out director Jordan Peele's recent The Twilight Zone reboot, to... Well, flopped streaming service Quibi's 50 States of Fright, but everyone makes mistakes.
Meanwhile on the big screen Farmiga has been no slouch, starring in everything from 2015's warm-hearted horror comedy slasher spoof The Final Girls, to the austere, gothic Shirley Jackson adaptation We Have Always Lived in the Castle, to The Conjuring spin-off The Nun.
Again, everyone makes mistakes RE that last one.
