Scream series heroine Neve Campbell hasn’t actually spent as much time in the horror genre as many fans assume.

Instead, the actor's quirky career saw her parlay the newfound teen stardom she enjoyed from Last House on the Left director Wes Craven's teen horror Scream and TV series Party of Fave and use it to quickly branch out and shoot more interesting indie films like Panic, The Company, and… er, Wild Things.

But whilst the actor has enjoyed an impressively varied screen career in the decades since her first breakout role, it's the work she did as an edgier, more relatable final girl which remains her most iconic role.

Between classic nineties teen horror The Craft and her signature part as the Scream series' witty, razor-sharp heroine Sidney Prescott, she’s more than earned a place in the annals of horror history even without that rumoured starring role in the upcoming fifth instalment from the directors of last year's horror comedy sleeper hit Ready or Not.
