The Kill Bill duology follows a former assassin called Beatrix who's hunting her former colleagues after they left her for dead. After she picks them all off one-by-one, she prepares to kill their leader and her ex-lover, Bill.

Even though Bill's presence can be felt throughout, we never see him fight, save for a few seconds in the climax. Because the showdown is disappointingly brief, viewers wished they could see more of the titular villain in action.

But anyone who checked out the extended version of Kill Bill Vol. 2 bared witness to Bill in battle. During a flashback, we see Bill and Beatrix being challenged by a nameless Ronin, portrayed by Michael Jai White. Refusing to back down, Bill makes short work of the Ronin, slaying him with minimal effort.

White doesn't appear for long but makes the most of his limited screen time. His deliberate overacting perfectly emulates the over-the-top performances that were standard in old kung fu movies. Also, the way Bill sheathes his sword from his scabbard in mid-strike might be the coolest death in the whole duology.
