4. "Say Something" - Halloween

Halloween features a wildly unnecessary subplot in which Dr. Ranbir Sartain (Haluk Bilginer) turns heel and attempts to help Michael Myers run riot across Haddonfield.

Unfortunately for Sartain, things don't quite go as planned, and Myers seems just as irritated with "the new Loomis" as the audience is.

Myers subdues Sartain, who in his final moments begs Michael to say something, but Michael hilariously retorts by stomping his head into a bloody paste.

If you're gonna insert a pointless character and even more pointless subplot into your movie, the least you can do is pay it off with an awesome, gory head stomp. It's also one of the year's funniest death scenes despite its grisly detail.
