1. Taxi Driver

It's the number one slot you've been waiting for, and of course it's Travis Bickle challenging himself in the mirror in Scorsese's masterpiece, Taxi Driver. Travis, recently scorned by the politically savvy Betsy, has accrued some weaponry via the black market. In a scheme engineered to make sure he gets Betsy's attention, Travis plans to kill the presidential candidate Senator Palantine. Travis stares at himself in the mirror. Working up his bravado, he taunts himself as he stands in front of the mirror. His imaginary foe seems to be talking to him, and Bickle takes offense to his indiscretion. He pulls his gun on the mirror version of himself, the perfect practice for his planned assassination.
Honorable Mentions: Kill Bill, Die Hard, Raging Bull. Thoughts? Leave a comment. If you want to hear me talk to myself (and others), check out
