The film revolves around a small cast of characters in an isolated location, yet the plot never fails to grip you owing to the brilliance of Domhnall Gleeson, Alicia Vikander, and Oscar Isaac. All three of them are flawless throughout.

Alex Garland’s screenplay is also fantastic. The combination of thematic substance with chilling tension is masterful. From beginning to end, the writing excels and invests the audience in the story.
