10 Best Movies Starring Doctor Who Actors

9. Womb

Well, Matt Smith sure knows how to pick 'em, doesn't he? Before he was enlisted as the eleventh incarnation of the universe's coveted Gallifreyan defender, he was getting to grips with another sci-fi conundrum when he starred in the 2010 film Womb as a man who is killed, reborn and subsequently raised by his former lover. No, seriously. In an endearing but twisted tale of artificial incest (which is a legitimate thing... apparently), the Eleventh Doctor star embarks on an intimate - and not to mention illicit - affair with Rebecca, played by Eva Green, as the dystopian drama questions whether or not having sexual liaisons with the person you *technically* gave birth to can ever actually be OK. It's certainly an intriguing premise which follows a desperate woman who goes to extraordinary lengths to be reunited with her beloved. You'll be doing lots of thinking after this one.
