Paddington made his long awaited big screen debut last year and it was guaranteed to become an instant classic as an established national institution attracting a who's who of British acting talent. A bit like Doctor Who, then, really! And speaking of Doctor Who, the film is guaranteed to satisfy fans as it features none other than the show's incumbent Time Lord himself, Peter Capaldi, as Mr Curry, the Browns' ill tempered next door neighbour. Other familiar faces from the Whoniverse to keep an eye out for include Geoffrey Palmer, Imelda Staunton, Michael Gambon and Hugh Bonneville. Ben Whishaw is the voice of Paddington, and he was rumoured to be the Twelfth Doctor at one point (Ben, that is, not the bear!), so he counts, too. One to cuddle up to on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Preferably with your own Paddington teddy.
