2. "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" - This Is The End
We're not entirely sure that anybody was expecting this - and that's including the Backstreet Boys! Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, being the warped duo that they are, however, meant that the final scene in the surprisingly hilarious This Is The End - which pits pretty much everyone in the Judd Apatow movie circle against one another when the apocalypse strikes during a party at James Franco's house - featured the actual Backstreet Boys performing their hit "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" like it was the most natural thing in the world. How does this even happen, then? Well, having figured out that getting into Heaven relies solely on your willingness to sacrificing yourself to save a friend, Seth Rogen and Jay Baruchel finally manage to blag their way into the Pearly Gates after fighting a horrific demon creature. Presumably, during the writing of the script, somebody jokingly suggested that "the movie should end with a huge dance number in Heaven, and the Backstreet Boys are, like, there performing and sh*t." Somehow they made that happen, and the results are... well, downright brilliant.
