10 Best Musical Moments In 2013 Movies

7. "Wanna Fight?" - Only God Forgives

Only-God-Forgives Only God knows what to make of Nicholas Winding Refn's follow-up to Drive, which sees Ryan Gosling as a drug dealer looking to find revenge for the murder of his brother in Bangkok. Whereas a few critics hailed this as a masterpiece, most agreed that it was far too thin and empty to deliver what the plot promises. Whereas the narrative was thin, though, one certainly couldn't argue that the movie didn't look and sound great. The soundtrack itself, composed by Refn regular Cliff Martinez, is like something out of a terrifying, drug-fueled dream. The most memorable cue on the soundtrack, then, is this one - "Wanna Fight?" is accompanies the bizarrely anti-climatic fight scene that takes between Gosling's Julian and the Thai police officer who wanders around Bangkok wreaking vengeance as he sees fit. The music here hypnotic, strange, scary, and absolutely unforgettable.
