4. "Cuddly Toy" - Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa
There were those who said that an Alan Partridge movie wouldn't work, given the purposely dull and mundane nature of Steve Coogan's seminal TV series - how do you "movie up" something like Alan Partridge to make it appealing for a wider audience? And though longtime fans will certainly have a few gripes with the heightened nature of the movie - subtitled Alpha Papa - the general consensus seemed to be: "Yeah, that was pretty good, actually." Rather gloriously, one of the most memorable parts of the entire movie happens to be rather musical in its execution. In the early credits scene, our favourite Norwich-based radio personality finds himself driving to work and being compelled to sing wildly along to Roachford's classic 80s track, "Cuddly Toy". After viewing the below clip you'll never be able to remember how the song played before Partridge made it his own. "Your fog lights are on... it's not even foggy!". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UH1SPYM2Y9E
