10 Best One-Hit-Wonder Actors

6. Lacey Chabert

Bill And Ted
Paramount Pictures

Lacey Chabert's career began at the age of 15 when she voiced Merla in the 1997 direct-to-video film, Journey Beneath the Sea. She continued doing voice-over roles on films, including Babes in Toyland, Anastasia, The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride, and many more.

Despite the plethora of work on her resume, it wasn't until she starred as Gretchen Wieners on the 2004 hit film Mean Girls that she became a well-known star. Her performance in the movie led to appearances in tons of movies and television shows, but she's never received the recognition she got as Gretchen.

Part of the reason for that has to do with the cult status of the movie. Mean Girls was a massive hit, and its popularity has done nothing but grow since the movie was first released. Despite landing roles in dozens of movies, it's likely you can't think of one off the top of your head, featuring Chabert.

Throughout her career, she continued to lend her voice to a plethora of characters in animated films, shows, and almost a dozen video games. It's likely you've heard her voice and never known it, especially if you're a fan of Star Wars: The Old Republic, Rugrats, and Justice League.
