10 Best Psychological Thrillers On Netflix

1. The Invitation

It is an injustice that 2015's The Invitation isn't talked about nearly as much as it should be. Not only is it hands down the best psychological thriller on Netflix, but one of the best of the last couple decades.

A dinner party descends into nightmare when Will starts getting the sinking feeling that something isn't quite right. Is it all in his head? Or is there something more sinister going on?

Movies about loss and grief are a dime a dozen, especially when it comes to psychological thrillers. Those themes lend themselves perfectly to exploring a person's fractured psyche, and few do it better than The Invitation.

You will eventually get answers, ones that are delivered like a punch to the gut for that matter, but even then you won't be able to shake off the feeling of pure paranoia it injects into you.

The film is a slow burn in the truest sense of the term. However, it uses its pace and tone to enhance its heart-pounding payoff, one that manages to hold up no matter how many times you see it. Spoilers are not your friend with this one, so make sure to go in as blind as can be.
