10 Best Second Kills In Horror Movies

Green Room is one hell of a visceral horror-thriller, following a punk band which finds themselves fighting to survive against a neo-Nazi gang after witnessing one of them commit murder at the club they're playing at.

Among the aggressors is one of the club's skinhead bouncers, Big Justin (Eric Edelstein), a vile brick s**thouse of a human being who poses a massive physical threat to the group.

Though Justin tries to confine the band to the club's green room, they eventually manage to fight back, disarm, and overpower him. When he tries to break free, band member Reece (Joe Cole) chokes him out.

And because the group aren't sure how long it takes to decisively incapacitate someone, the murder victim's friend, Amber (Imogen Poots), suddenly grabs Justin's box cutter and slices his stomach open, ensuring that if he wasn't dead before, he sure is now.

But director Jeremy Saulnier doesn't merely imply Justin's death - he lingers on a nauseatingly realistic-looking shot of the box cutter tearing his stomach apart. Gnarly stuff, but absolutely in line with the movie's unapologetically grungy style and tone.
