Bond fans will have to wait a bit longer before seeing 007 back on the big screen, with Sam Mendes' Bond 24 gearing up for a November 2015 release. But, fret not, because the world's most famous spy will, to a certain extent, be invading your television screens laster this year when BBC America's biographical miniseries, Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond, arrives in January. Dominic Cooper (Captain America: The First Avenger) plays Iam Fleming, the ex-spy turned novelist responsible for creating James Bond. Fleming worked as an intelligence officer prior to writing the Bond novels, and used much of his experience and knowledge to inform his works. BBC America has released a new trailer for the miniseries, which you can watch here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=EKmSGsKJtww The show feels very much like a smaller budget Bond film, complete with espionage, a beautiful Bond girl (played by Sherlock's Lara Pulver), gambling, and explosions. Fleming's real life a career was a bit less exciting, since he worked as more of a planner and director than a field agent, so the show obviously embellishes some of the details. Regardless, it looks like a fun series and an interesting entry into the Bond pantheon.
