1. Shirley Temple Has Passed Away At Age 85

Shirleytemple Shirley Temple, the most popular child star in Hollywood history, passed away late Monday night at the age of 85. Her family announced that she's died of natural causes in her Woodside, California home, surrounded by family and caregivers. Temple had quite the amazing career, winning the hearts of millions at age three; became the youngest Academy Award winner of all time at age six, and retired at the age of 22. She was the number one movie star in the world from 1935-1938, and called "Little Miss Miracle" by President Franklin Roosevelt. She received a special miniature Oscar at age six for Oustanding Achievement. After retiring from acting Temple became a U.S. diplomat, remaining an icon her entire life.
