10 Biggest Movie And TV News This Week (Jan 4)

4. Dwayne Johnson Teases DC Collaboration

Rock Ever since it was annoucned that Zack Snyder would be helming a sequel to Man of Steel that would pit Superman against Batman, the internet has been wildly buzzing with equal parts excitement, anticipation, and anxiety about the film. I won't even go into how people reacted regarding Ben Affleck's bat-casting or word that Gal Gadot would appear as Wonder Woman. Besides those two announcements not much is known about the film, and instead of solid news we've gotten a seemingly endless slew of rumors regarding who would be in the film and what characters might appear. Well, now we've got a little bit of solid information to throw into the mix, though it's from a bit of an unlikely source: Dwayne Johnson, who took to Twitter earlier this week and dropped the bomb that he would be collaborating with DC in 2014: https://twitter.com/TheRock/statuses/418130830171852800 This of course sent fanboys reeling, wondering if he would finally be making that Lobo film or starring in Batman Vs. Superman. People have thrown all sorts of casting ideas out there, including Doomsday, Lex Luthor, Bizarro, Cyborg, and Green Lantern. Particular the latter as The Rock went on to name-drop Green Lantern character John Stewart. Johnson's tweet is, of course, frustratingly cryptic, so we'll just have to wait and see what he's talking about until we get some more information. Who do you think he should play? Will he be in Batman Vs. Superman, or another film all together?
