10 Biggest Reveals From The Marvel Phase 2 Box-Set
5. An Awesome Fight Between Thor And The Vision Was Cut From Age Of Ultron
One thing viewers could pick up on with Age Of Ultron is that some scenes were clearly trimmed; theres the cave scene with Thor that had everyone including Joss Whedon scratching their heads and other key moments felt rushed. This isnt a surprise as the film is loaded with characters and subplots, but its distracting when people can just feel something is missing. The birth of The Vision is another one, where he has a bit of a fight with The Avengers before chilling out and delivering exposition. The pacing of the scene felt off somehow, which is explained by an extended version found on the Blu-ray. In the original cut The Vision is way more aggressive and gets into a longer fight with Thor; he also displays powers that arent seen in the movie, like turning transparent when Captain America throws his shield at him. It's a good fight, though they were probably right to trim it as watching him go from super aggressive to really calm in a matter of seconds would have been too jarring.
