6. The Romance Of Kahless And Lukara

Kahless and Lukara are, in a way, the Klingon equivalent to Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. There is a slight difference between the two stories though. While Romeo and Juliet simply destroyed themselves, Kahless and Lukara brought down the dictatorship of Molar, slaying, along with 500 other Klingons, almost the entirety of the city guard.

Kahless was a commoner who rose up against Molor, who was having live sacrifices thrown into volcanoes in his honour. Along with Lukara, Kahless managed to bring down Molor, with their story becoming the greatest romance in Klingon history.

While a clone of Kahless returned, thanks to the interference of the monks on Borath, the fabled return of Kahless has never actually happened in Star Trek. Before the return, the original story of Quo'nos's greatest pairing needs to be shown. Lukara became the archetype for all Klingon women who followed, powerfully loyal and a dedicated warrior herself. Together they started a dynasty that lasted until the days of the Federation alliance. For such an influential couple, their pairing and life together seem a perfect candidate for the audience to be shown.
