3. Indy Goes To Space! (Indiana Jones 5)

The long-awaited fifth instalment in the Indiana Jones series started filming earlier this year, but plot details have been locked up tighter than the ark at the end of Raiders. And where there's a scarcity of information, there are rumours!

A recent bit of gossip courtesy of Illuminerdi claims to have obtained information about Indy 5's story and characters, and folks, please brace yourselves, because this is a spicy one.

Reportedly, Mads Mikkelsen will be playing the movie's villain (no surprises there), described as "a Nazi scientist enlisted into NASA by the United States government to work on the space agency’s moon landing initiative."

Furthermore, Illuminerdi speculates that the film will be set during the space race of the 1960s, which, going one step further, means that aliens could come into play once again, like they did in Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull. Let's hope not.

The remnants of the Nazis hijacking the space race feels like an appropriately out-there plot for an Indiana Jones movie, and who knows, maybe the third act will see Indy himself get fired into orbit in a Nazi-constructed rocket. Harrison Ford knows a thing or two about space travel, after all.
