7. Brandon Lee Was Murdered By Gangsters

Brandon Lee's untimely demise was a huge story at the time, and it's difficult to talk about his final film The Crow without mentioning it, given that he died during its filming, when a bullet shard fired out of a prop gun and killed him. However, much like his father, the inimitable Bruce Lee, bizarre rumours began to surface surrounding his death, chiefly that he was actually assassinated for exposing martial arts secrets by a shady gang or society. Of course, this relies on the overwhelming contrivance that a member of this gang managed to sneak onto the set, tamper with the exact prop gun in question to be used for the scene, and get away without being detected, or perhaps managed to bribe one of the crew members (an even more unlikely possibility). Occam's razor dictates that the simplest solution is normally the right one, and so it makes sense to go with what the police reports found, that it was a freak accident, and nobody really was at fault, certainly nobody with the intent to kill. And yet, many still believe that both Lee and his father had their tickets punched intentionally.
