10 Black Characters That Refused To Die First

4. A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors - Roland Kincaid (played by Ken Sagoes)

With the return of Wes Craven, the third Nightmare picks up where the first one left off. This time around Freddy sets his sights on dispatching the last remaining Elm Street kids (who are conveniently locked away in a psychiatric hospital) with more imaginative kills and even wittier banter.

When one of the kids is kidnapped by Freddy, Nancy and the rest of the cast delve into the dream world to confront him once and for all. Taking a cue from the title, our protagonists develop unique powers within the dream. Roland Kincaid opts for super strength to overcome Freddy's obstacles and surprisingly survives, despite an over abundance of confidence which is evidenced by the line €œlet's snuff this sucker!€
