9. A Tarantino-Directed Bond Film

This is an idea that has had its fair share of supporters throughout the years, but personally, I just don't see it. Around a decade ago, before the Daniel Craig Bond reboot, Tarantino floated the idea around of him directing a James Bond film that retained Pierce Brosnan as the lead, but hewed closer to the old-school, Ian Fleming style, as eventually happened with the reboot anyway. Is it an interesting idea? Absolutely, I just don't have any faith that Tarantino could restrain himself sufficiently anymore to make a straight-up Bond film that would actually hit well with the series' fans. Though Tarantino's hands would be positively bound by EON regarding adult content, I imagine being constrained in such a way would just frustrate him and the end result would most probably suffer. Still, would I like to see what sort of train wreck Q would cause? Damn right.
