Brace yourselves for this one.

When Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was released, it took fans all of a day or two to notice a digital alteration made to one of the movie's shots from the trailers.

In the memorable image where Namor's (Tenoch Huerta Mejía) army is gearing up to do battle with the Wakandans, some pointed out that the villain's crotch bulge had been, er, smoothed off for the final theatrical release.

For now the only point of comparison is an HD trailer still with a bootleg image from the final release, but it nevertheless clearly shows that some post-production trickery was wrought upon the actor's package.

Naturally the word spread on social media like wildfire, with many decrying Disney for daring to paint out the man's natural physicality under the apparent guise of being "family friendly."

If rumours are to be believed, it wouldn't be the first time that Disney has reduced an actor's modesty to appease pearl-clutching viewers, with Lindsay Lohan's breasts reportedly being sized-down during post-production of 2005's Herbie: Fully Loaded.
