10 Characters That Could Appear In X-Men: Apocalypse
3. Nathan Summers - Cable
Nathan Summers - better known as Cable - was created by Mr. Sinister to destroy Apocalypse. Well, if that doesn't give us cause to include him on this list, nothing does! With the introduction of the character of Bishop and time travel in the X-Men film universe, Cable could prove to be a viable and bankable action hero for the franchise, especially since Hugh Jackman can only play Wolverine for so long. Although it has been said by Singer himself that actors from the original trilogy would not be making an appearance in Apocalypse, which is wonderful seeing as how original cast members from the first trilogy would not be needed for an adult Cable to time jump and become displaced in the 80s to help prevent the invasion of Apocalypse. Cable's intervention could even lead to a possible X-Force film utilizing other characters from the X-Universe such as Domino, Stryfe, and Deadpool. Even if the gun-toting mutant doesn't appear in Apocalypse in full adult form, that doesn't mean we couldn't get a cameo appearance from an infant Nathan being experimented on by Sinister.
