10 Characters Emily Blunt Could Be Playing In The MCU

2. Lady Loki

The 2012-era version of Loki made his escape with the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame after Earth's Mightiest Heroes travelled back in time and the God of Mischief's solo series on Disney+ will revolve around what comes next for the villain. Given the involvement of the Time Variance Authority, Loki is clearly going to be making his own trips through the time stream and that could lead to some big changes for Thor's brother.

The prevailing theory is that Tom Hiddleston will soon bid farewell to Loki but the character can live on in other forms, including as Lady Loki. While the comic book version inhabited the body of Sif, this version could very easily just take on an entirely different form.

Blunt has proved that she has a regal side in movies like Queen Victoria and The Huntsman: Winter's War and the prospect of seeing her take on a villainous role such as this one is massively exciting. Lady Loki was even more delightfully evil than her male counterpart and the MCU getting a new villain in Blunt's version of the Asgardian could be a game-changer for Phase 4 and beyond.
