7. Things Go To Hell

The music begins to get all warped and things get a lot worse in the bunker as we move into the second half of the trailer. First, Goodman has a freakout at the dinner table, smashing his fists (incidentally, movie's love showing off his knuckles) down in anger and stunning the other two.

Ooh, now what's this. This is the shot I mentioned before that seems to suggest Winstead gets chained up, but there's also the very important leg brace - she's not only been trapped, but is also injured. We'll later see her using crutches, so something's going to happen to her in the bunker. One thing to note: that brick work is very different to what we see in the rest of the trailer, so there's every possibility this is being shown out of sequence - is this moment from later on in the film, after she's escaped?

This shot of someone whittling a spear-like weapon is clearly Winstead - she's wearing that white top for most of the trailer - which points towards us seeing several escape attempts (or at least the plotting for them). There's no sign of the weapon anywhere else in the trailer though, so there's no way to know where in the movie this comes from.

Another intriguing moment - Goodman's putting on rugger gloves to handle something from in a big barrel. This shot comes from later in the trailer, but I've placed it here as it ties into these high-tension moments better than what it's surrounding. Again, judging by the clothes, this is around the time of the shaking, possibly a scene where Goodman reveals some big piece of information. Something relating to the creature, perhaps? Or perhaps it's the remains of one of Heisenberg's victims?
