4. "You Should Try Asking For My Number" - Daredevil
The infamous playground scene from 2003's Daredevil may be a distant nightmare now that Netflix has successfully revived the character, but those bad dreams never quite go away completely, do they?
The unbearably goofy sequence sees Matt Murdock (Ben Affleck) following Elektra Natchios (Jennifer Garner) to a playground where they engage in an impromptu fight, complete with ridiculous wire-fu, faux-flirtatious dialogue and some quintessentially early 2000s music.
As the pair ends up precariously balanced on a sea-saw, he asks her, "So does every guy have to go through all this just to find out your name?", to which she replies, "You should try asking for my number" before the fight continues.
Sure, it's meant to be playfully cutesy to a point, but it violently swerves into embarrassing territory thanks to Garner's terrible line reading and basically everything about it as written and directed.
