10 Cool Scenes Cut From Tim Burton's Batman Movies

6. Bob The Goon Fight Scene - Batman

Batman Tim Burton Robin
Warner Bros.

Bob the Goon is the Joker’s loyal henchman, who sticks with him even after he transforms in a maniacal clown. He’s always there to defend his boss, following his orders without question; up till the moment the Joker shoots him to vent some frustration.

He’s not much of a threat to Batman throughout the film and is even seen fleeing when the superhero beckons him for a fight in the alley scene. That wasn’t the original plan, with an alternate scene shot where Bob accepts the challenge and attacks Batman with his trusty knife.

Behind the scenes footage shows snippets of the fight being shot, and while it’s hardly essential it would have been nice to see Bob get a little action. If nothing else his action figure – which came with “Power Kick” action – would have made a bit more sense.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
