You ever wonder what form a god would actually take if they decided to live in our universe? There are many different answers to this, but one of the more interesting is Ego The Living Planet from Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2.

Ego was the father of the leader of the Guardians, Peter Quill. He was also a cosmic deity that formed into a living planet because when you're floating through space all alone, you take any way to pass the time that you can.

Foregoing Ego's actual character, the environment he builds for himself is fascinating. Since the planet can form whatever its master desires, Ego is a paradise of floating islands, majestic palaces, fields that rainbow out into multiple colors, and caves filled with the skulls of failed successors, but perhaps I've said too much.

It's no wonder so many children of Ego, including Quill, so easily fall for his sweet talk. Who WOULDN'T want to inherit a place like this and live as a cosmic god? It was a place too good to be true, so of course it was.
