10 Cute Movie Characters Who'd Happily Rip Your Face Off

9. Chucky - Child's Play

Everyone's favorite killer doll Chucky has been through a lot over the years: he's been shot, stabbed, melted, dismembered and he still keeps on ticking. It's hard to think back to a time when he was still a brand-new Good-Guy doll. 1988's Child's Play, of course, follows the story of Charles Lee Ray (played by Brad Dourif), a voodoo practicing serial killer also known as the "Lakeshore Strangler", who one night - while on the run from the police - transfers his soul into a doll to escape death. The doll is ultimately bought by a mother and given to her six year-old son Andy as a birthday gift. You know the drill: once the doll gets home strange things start to occur and mysterious murders begin to happen. Andy tries to explain that it was Chucky but nobody believes him because the doll is just so freaking adorable (and you know, nobody believes in black magic). Chucky may have gotten more and more silly over the years but we will never forget a simpler time - a time when a killer doll was the absolute scariest thing you could think of.
