10 Deleted Scenes That Would Have Improved Movies

9. Terminator 2: More Dreams

Yes, Terminator 2 already has its fair share of dream sequences, but it could have more and it really should have.

There was a crucial moment lost from the cut that featured Sarah Connor having a dream in which Kyle Reese comes to visit her while she is still in prison. Reese warns her that danger is coming and that this time it will be coming for their son, before guiding her to memories of watching John on a playground.

So exposition via dream is never a great thing but this sequence has so much more going on. Reese warns Sarah that John is in danger not because that is new information but because that's what Sarah is so paranoid about.

She knows that she has to get back to John to help protect him, it is her primary motivation throughout the film. Then when Reese guides her to the playground, it gives us greater insight into Sarah's mental state at this point and foreshadows the later destruction of that park.

This sequence was probably cut because somebody told Cameron he had to lose one of the dream sequences and this was the easiest one to cut but it's a shame.
