10 Directors Who Are Locked In Movie Jail

5. Rob Cohen

The Director: Rob Cohen floated from film to film in his early career €“ like Dragonheart and Daylight - until he got took control of the original The Fast And The Furious. He had another huge hit with xXx, and he looked set to complete the hat-trick with Stealth. The Crime: Expect that Stealth that was a fairly costly failute for everyone involved. Despite the many explosions and Jessica Biel in a tight t-shirt, the film only made half its budget back, which doesn€™t even take the cost of promotion into account. The film ruined Josh Lucas€™ chances of becoming a leading man, and nobody would return Cohen's messages for awhile. The Sentence: He was given a second chance a few years later, but as it The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor nobody cared. He had to wait even longer for Alex Cross, which tried to turn Tyler Perry into an action hero, which went about as well as expected. His last film was the low-budget J.Lo thriller The Boy Next Door, which actually made some money; so he might get a second chance after all.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
