5. Don't Be Blinded By Love
Your boyfriend or girlfriend may know you like no one else does. You men probably even let your girlfriend pick out your outfit. You women probably give your boyfriend permission to go hang out with his "bros" when all he really ends up doing is playing video games for five hours on Saturday night. But don't let your significant other choose what movie to watch. I try not to be one who believes all stereotypes, but let's face facts. The marketers know what they're doing. Certain movies appeal to women while others appeal to men. So when your boyfriend takes your hand and tries to convince you to watch the new Jason Statham movie, you better hope it's been directed by Guy Ritchie or an A-list director because if not it's going to be an hour and a half of choreographed fight scenes, shoot outs, and gratuitous ass shots. Guys, if your girlfriend takes you to see a movie starring one of the Ryan's, you better hope it's Gosling because he's been putting out way better stuff than Reynolds. Either way, the shirt is probably coming off, so prepare yourselves for some unfair comparisons and unwanted nudging to hit the gym more often. So boys and girls, don't let the other choose. Come to a compromise. Now if you'll excuse me, me and the lady friend are going to hit up the Redbox for "Magic Mike."

I'm a thinker/fantasizer who writes down his thoughts and fantasies hoping it makes sense to everyone else. Also I'm an aspiring screenwriter, but if I can work in film at all, I'd be happy. One day you may hear the name Ryan Kim and associate it with "Academy Award winning writer" or with "where's that guy with my coffee." If the latter comes true, please let it be Paul Thomas Anderson's coffee I'm getting.
