10 Dumb Decisions In The MCU We Can't Forgive
7. Never Giving Drax The Chance To Face Thanos
Drax's impulsive behaviour in Guardians of the Galaxy was revealed to be the result of Ronan the Accuser being the one responsible for the murder of his family. However, upon learning that he did so at Thanos' behest, Drax vowed to get revenge on the Mad Titan. Well, that opportunity never actually presented itself to the hero.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 didn't include the villain, and while Drax did manage to get his hands on Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, nothing we saw there felt like he was getting any sort of retribution for what had happened. He was just another good guy trying to stop the villain getting his hands on the Infinity Stones, and that kind of sucks!
Even Avengers: Endgame overlooked his hatred of the cosmic despot, and while we're sure Drax was happy when Thanos was dusted, even a thirty-second scene elaborating on his desire for revenge and how he felt about his family finally being avenged would have been appreciated. As it stands, Marvel Studios overlooked something very important.
