5. Jared Leto's Joker Is Actually Jason Todd/Robin
This is a theory that became super popular for awhile, until people really stopped to think about it. One fan believes that the big reveal for Jared Letos Joker is that he used to be Jason Todd (the second Robin) which would give him a very personal link to Ben Afflecks Batman. The fan pointed to puncture wounds seen on Robins vandalised suit, which appear to match up with wounds seen on the Joker in a publicity photo. His tattoos might also provide clues; his J tattoo could stand for Jason, and the bird one could be a robin. All of this is circumstantial at best; the marks seen on the Joker dont really match up with the holes seen on the Robin suit, and J obviously stands for Joker. That and Zack Synder takes his comics very seriously, as seen with Watchmen. Its extremely unlikely he would so drastically reinvent an iconic character like The Joker, just to put a put a new spin on him.
