And finally, the daftest theory doing the rounds regarding The Force Awakens is the idea that Han Solo is a Jedi. Yep, some corners of the internet are convinced that Hans knack for getting out of tight situations (evading the Empire, avoiding asteroids) isnt just a character trait its evidence of Force sensitivity. According to this theory, Hans expert pilot skills and awesome smuggling abilities were born unbeknownst to Han himself from the Force. He may not believe in one all-powerful force controlling everything, but the Force has actually been guiding Han his entire life. In The Force Awakens, this would apparently all come to light. Of course, though, this just cant be true. Han is a cynic, and he always has been. Hes the ordinary man fighting his way through a fantastical galaxy. To make him a secret Jedi would remove a huge part of his character and, to be honest, lessen his coolness considerably. Youve got to have some trust in Abrams theres no way he would make that call.
