10 Dumbest Villain Plans From Sci-Fi Movies

8. Making Your Own Transformers - Joshua Joyce (Transformers: Age Of Extinction)

By the time the fourth Michael Bay Transformers film rolled around, the series had gotten so bad that even Shia LeBoeuf decided to leave. And that's saying something.

Mark Wahlberg took over as the main human for this instalment, subtitled Age of Extinction. Unfortunately, that was not a prophetic title, as this baffling series is still going.

The film attempts to cram loads of the Transformers mythology into its runtime, including the introduction of the Dinobots and the transformation of Megatron into Galvatron. That is X-Men 3 levels of overstuffing!

Lost in all of the mechanical mayhem and Wahlberging is Joshua Joyce, the main villain of the piece as played by Stanley Tucci. Joyce is working to create his own Transformers using a mineral called - *sigh* - Transformium.

God help us.

This begs one question - why? It's already been established that Transformers are extremely dangerous and unpredictable, with most humans who tangle with them ending up in various stages of dead.

Why would you want to make more of these things? Why would you think you could control them?

Look at us, arguing plot points in a Michael Bay movie. What have we been reduced to?
