10 Easily Avoidable Deaths In Cinema

8. Don't Antagonise The Protagonist - Se7en

Seven In David Fincher's Seven, Detective William R. Somerset (Morgan Freeman) is partnered with the short-fused Detective David Mills (Brad Pitt) as they investigate a series of grisly crimes based on the seven deadly sins (hence the title). They soon track down a man with the ever-original name of John Doe (Kevin Spacey) who has been killing off victims whom he believes are guilty of committing the seven deadly sins (lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride) in particularly gruesome ways. The film ends with Doe taunting Mills in the worst way imaginable. After being asked to be taken to a remote desert, a box addressed to Mills arrived containing, yep you guessed it, the head of his wife, whom Doe claimed he was jealous of, thus embodying him as "envy". Had he just allowed himself to be captured instead of completing the seven deadly sins strand of murders, he might not have had six bullets fired into him.
