Affectionately regarded as Franchise Viagra by the movie press, Dwayne The Rock Johnson earned that label by first appearing in Fast Five as DDS Agent Luke Hobbs, a doggedly determined officer of the law hot on the tail of Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his gang. In the latest entry of the franchise, Jason Statham plays the primary antagonist, Ian Shaw brother of the late Owen Shaw (the villain from Fast And Furious 6) that is seeking vengeance for his brothers death. Hobbs clearly has shifted completely to the side of the good guys/pardoned criminals, helping them to battle against Owen Shaw and his own secret team to seek vengeance for events that occurred in the previous film. The trailer for the sequel promises that these two action stars will indeed be facing off. Given that Statham is the bad guy its probably easy to guess who comes out on top but still, itll be a fight well worth getting excited for.
